Flashing V3i Backup to a V3ire

I had an awesome V3i which I last used about 3 years ago, because the screen was damaged. Finally found the phone selling out here, and i bought it immediately, only to realize it is the V3ire, and not the actual V3i. I modded the crap out of my V3i years ago, and I have the firmware backed up, I just want to flash it to this V3ire now. Is it possible? Has anyone tried flashing the v3ire with V3i firmware backup? I hope it's possible, really can't go through all the modding again right now.

Look: Start ID and max size are not similar you have to make you sure before if your backup is not to big and replace RAMDLD with v3re.

Are you sure it will work? I have the V3ire, NOT the V3re

There's many v3 and are almost same, but I ain't sure.
Some MP are only for one boot loader and it can be a problem..

V3ire - Firmware: R44424_G_08.00.33R / BL: 0D.C0
V3i - Firmware: R479_G_08.B4.89R / BL: 0A.30

If i can change the BL on the V3ire to the same as my V3i, and ensure the V3ire has enough space for the Flash, then would that work?
Basically, if it won't permanently damage my phone, I would just go ahead and try.
